How it works

From a URL to an evidence-backed report, then as deep as you need.

No access to your analytics, no code on your site, no sales call. The audit reads what everyone else can already see, tells you what it adds up to, and lets you take any single category apart on its own checklist.

Three levels of audit, one method.

Free

Public-data overview scan

One scan a month. We score four categories we can evidence from public data alone: brand strategy and messaging, SEO visibility, AEO readiness and GEO / AI visibility. Every other category is shown locked, with the number of checks behind it, rather than partly guessed at.

  • Brand Health Score across the four free categories
  • Checklist verdicts with the fact we observed for each
  • The three highest-priority fixes spelled out in full

Starter and above

Full audit

All twelve scored categories, plus the optional private inputs that unlock them: brand guidelines, competitors, social channels, review and listing profiles, and founder profiles. Growth adds read-only Meta and Google Ads connections for paid media.

  • Twelve categories weighted into one score
  • Data coverage and confidence reported separately
  • Full fix list ordered by impact and effort

Any paid plan

Category deep dives

Re-run any single category on its own fixed checklist. The deep dive reads the same retrieved pages again with only that category in front of it, returns a page-by-page verdict, and prints the measured data behind every finding. Each deep dive uses one audit from your monthly allowance.

  • Page-by-page verdicts, not a site-level summary
  • Measured evidence tables beside each verdict
  • Priority fixes ordered by impact and effort

Running a Brand Health Audit: the four steps.

This is the flow for the main audit — the free overview scan and the paid full audit follow the same four steps; only the depth of the intake and the number of categories scored changes. Category deep dives are run afterwards, from a finished report.

  1. 01

    Enter your website

Both the free overview and the paid full audit start here: one field. We read publicly accessible pages, profiles, listings, reviews and search signals.

  2. 02

    Confirm what we found

Review the public sources we discovered. On a paid plan you can also add business context, brand guidelines, competitors, profile links and connected accounts. Every private input is optional and improves data coverage — skipping it never lowers your score.

  3. 03

    We scan and score

The free overview scores four categories: brand foundation, SEO, AEO and GEO. A paid full audit scores all twelve against the same fixed checklists. Categories without sufficient evidence, or without the intake details they need, are marked Not assessed and excluded from the weighted score rather than counted as zero.

  4. 04

    You get the report

An evidence-backed report showing your Brand Health Score, data coverage and confidence separately, with every material finding tied to a source and a scan date. From there, paid plans can run a deep dive on any single category.

Three measurements, kept separate.

Brand Health Score

Weighted performance across the categories we could assess, 0–100. It measures what we observed, not how much we could see.

Data coverage

How much of your public footprint we reached. Low coverage means blocked or missing sources, not poor performance.

Confidence

Set per finding — high, medium or low — based on the strength and directness of the evidence behind it.

Where the data comes from.

Every verdict is printed next to the number it was formed against. When a source is unavailable we say so and exclude it, rather than estimating.

Your live site, fetched directly

robots.txt directives per AI and search crawler, sitemap presence and size, llms.txt, structured data types, page titles, descriptions, headings and image alt text. No key required, so this source is always available.

A crawl of your actual pages

Up to fifteen real pages fetched live: response status, title tag and length, meta description, H1 count, canonical tag and duplicated titles, plus a sample of internal links checked for 404s and server errors.

Your connected Google Search Console

Indexed and submitted page counts from your own property, plus the last 28 complete days of clicks, impressions and top pages. Read-only, and only when you have connected the account.

Google PageSpeed Insights

Measured performance, accessibility, technical SEO and best-practice scores on mobile, plus Largest Contentful Paint, layout shift and blocking time.

Third-party ranking and backlink data

Organic keyword and traffic estimates, referring domains and the highest-value backlinks for your domain, where records exist.

Google Business Profile (Places)

Your listing as Google publishes it: name, address, phone, website, primary category, hours, photos, rating, review count and recent review samples.

Your connected Google Business Profile

The listing you own, read through your own connected account: verification state, categories, hours, phone numbers, address, services, photos and labels, plus review counts, average rating and whether recent reviews were answered. Read-only, and only when you have connected the account.

AI assistant visibility probe

A fixed set of buyer-style prompts run through an AI assistant, recording whether your brand is named, whether your site is cited and which other brands appear. Directional, not a ranking.

Every category, and what it costs to reach it.

Each page explains the exact checklist we run, the data behind it and what the deep dive adds.

Questions

How the audit, plans and deep dives work

What is the difference between the free scan and a paid audit?

The free scan scores four categories we can evidence from public data alone: brand strategy and messaging, SEO, AEO and GEO. A paid audit scores all twelve, uses the optional private inputs you provide, and unlocks the full fix list and per-category deep dives.

What is a category deep dive?

A single category re-run on its own fixed checklist. It reads the same retrieved pages again with only that category in view, returns a verdict page by page, and prints the measured data behind each finding. It is available on any paid plan and uses one audit from your monthly allowance.

Does a deep dive count against my monthly audits?

Yes. A deep dive consumes one audit from your allowance, the same as a full audit, because it runs a fresh analysis.

When does my allowance reset?

Paid allowances reset on your Stripe billing period. The free monthly scan resets on the first of each calendar month, UTC.

Why are some categories marked Not assessed?

Either the plan does not include them, or the intake details they depend on were not provided, or the source was unreachable. In all three cases the category is excluded from the weighted score rather than scored as zero — we never guess.

Which categories need information from me?

Entity consistency, reputation, social and founder authority need the matching profiles or names at intake. Paid media needs a read-only ad account connected on Growth or above. Visual identity is far more useful with your brand guidelines uploaded.

Where does the data come from?

Your live site fetched directly, Google PageSpeed Insights, Google Business Profile through Places, third-party ranking and backlink records where they exist, and an AI assistant visibility probe that is clearly labelled directional.

Do you need access to our analytics or website code?

No. Nothing is installed and no analytics access is required. Private inputs only ever come from what you deliberately upload or connect.

Can I audit more than one brand?

Yes, on the Agency plan. Brands share the account's monthly audit allowance and each brand can hold its own integrations and white-label settings.

Do you fix what the report finds?

The report is diagnostic: it names the problem, the evidence and the direction of the fix. Implementation and strategy work is a separate engagement with The Branded Agency.
